Our Team.

 Our team brings a wealth of experience in coaching youth across various sports, including football, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, and hockey. With members who have competed at elite levels, we possess firsthand knowledge of what it takes to excel and succeed in highly competitive environments. 

Mike Prouty

Mike Prouty

Our Fitness Director, Mike Prouty, will lead small group sessions focused on speed, agility, and strength training. Prioritizing safe, efficient, and high-energy workouts, Mike will help your athletes develop a strong foundation in proper form and technique.

Mike brings a decade of law enforcement experience, including teaching Physical Fitness to recruits through the Massachusetts Police Training Council.

 

His background extends to coaching youth athletes, and he holds certifications in youth development, ensuring a structured and supportive approach. Mike’s dedication to building connections within the local community underscores his commitment to fostering athletic growth and personal development.

To further enhance the experience, Mike has enlisted standout high school athletes to assist in training sessions. These role models will inspire and motivate young participants while promoting excellence.

AJ Gerritson

AJ Gerritson

AJ Gerritson leads GPA’s operations and marketing with a dynamic blend of athletic and professional expertise. A two-time collegiate All-American rugby player at UMass, AJ continued his athletic journey by playing professionally in Ireland and winning two Division One men’s national championships with the Boston Irish Wolfhounds.

Off the field, AJ has built a remarkable career in advertising and marketing. Over the past 20 years, he has established himself as a leader in the industry, founding the highly regarded agency Zozimus. AJ’s competitive spirit and drive for excellence are evident in both his athletic achievements and his professional successes, making him an invaluable asset to GPA.

Eric Donovan

Eric Donovan

Eric is a holistic life coach and functional nutrition practitioner based in Scituate. His passion is helping clients uncover the root causes of their symptoms to build truly personalized wellness plans. With a compassionate, client-centered approach, he specializes in functional and narrative medicine, offering selective functional lab work, in-depth case reviews, and customized coaching. Eric strongly believes in using real whole foods to fuel athletic achievements.
